Angela Pazzaglia presents webcast on statistical sampling and extrapolation in FCA litigation

Manager Angela Pazzaglia will present a live webcast on June 28: “Statistical Sampling and Extrapolation in FCA Litigation: Leveraging Opportunities.” In recent years, statistical sampling and extrapolation methodologies have been applied in many False Claims Act (FCA) cases. There are no clear rules on the use of statistical sampling evidence in FCA litigation, but courts seem to favor its use in proving damages when liability has been determined. Dr. Pazzaglia will address what statistical sampling is, why it is important, and when it is appropriate; her presentation will also cover some important considerations when using sampling evidence.
