International agencies have developed divergent risk positions on several well-studied chemical classes, for example, perfluorinated alkyl acid carboxylates and sulfonates (PFAS). At the conference PFAS Limits: How Did We Get So Far Apart? Public Health and Policy Implications, Partner Charlie Mullin will present in the session Legal/Policy Aspects of Differing Science Judgments on “Potential Impact of Science and Policy Decisions on the Scope of Tort Claims.”
This conference is part of the Alliance for Risk Assessment’s Beyond Science and Decision Workshop series. The full agenda is available here.
