On July 11, Partner Collin Cain will take part in the TIEC 2023 Annual Conference, where he has been asked to speak on the “Now What?” panel. Panelists will evaluate Texas House Bill 1500, which was passed in May 2023 and relates to the continuation and functions of the Public Utility Commission of Texas and the Office of Public Utility Counsel, and the functions of the independent organization certified for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power region. They will also discuss next steps for the ERCOT market.
