Bates White is pleased to announce the promotion of three individuals to Partner: Andrew R. Evans, Jorge Gallardo-García, and Anna Meyendorff.

Andrew R. Evans is a recognized expert on legacy liability valuation and insurance allocation and currently serves as the Practice Chair of Bates White’s Environmental and Product Liability Practice. Mr. Evans has authored expert reports and declarations, facilitated settlements in insurance coverage disputes, and advised clients in litigation funding. He has significant experience in forecast and allocation analysis of asbestos losses and estimating contingency liability valuation for insurers. He was a critical member of the Bates White team that developed proprietary insurance allocation software. Mr. Evans is also a CFA charter holder.
Jorge Gallardo-García has provided consulting services and expert testimony in several matters with respect to statistical modeling and data analysis. As a member of the firm’s Environmental and Product Liability Practice, Dr. Gallardo-García is a well-known expert in product liability forecasting, claims valuation, and insurance allocation, specializing in the valuation of asbestos-related liability and claims valuation. The judge in In re Garlock Sealing Technologies called the database that Dr. Gallardo-García developed and analyzed the most extensive database about asbestos claims and claimants produced to date. Dr. Gallardo-García has presented his work at national conferences on asbestos litigation and actuarial methods.
Anna Meyendorff is a consulting and testifying expert in Bates White’s Antitrust Practice, with specialization in antitrust counterclaims in the context of intellectual property litigation. Her experience includes damages and liability analyses, market definition, and class certification. Recent work has focused on royalty payments under Section 115 of the Copyright Act as well as unlawful tying and abuse of monopoly power. Dr. Meyendorff has worked on projects in numerous industries, including media and entertainment and technology, among others. Her recent testimony has been focused in the aeronautics industry.
