The Washington Post named Bates White as a Top Workplace for mid-sized companies for seven consecutive years.
Managing Partner Charlie Mullin said, “We are thrilled to receive this recognition, especially since the ranking is based on employee feedback. As we transitioned to a hybrid work environment, we were intentional with the things we put in place to enhance our work experience, something our employees know us for. We focused on finding new ways to increase engagement, learning, and motivation, all while providing even greater flexibility. We are proud that we have retained this standing among the top DC workplaces and even more proud of our employees, who are dedicated to delivering high-quality work for clients, supporting each other, and giving back to the community.”
The ranking is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage. In the survey, employees rate company culture, direction, leadership, values, and work. In completing the survey for 2022, many Bates White employees noted the firm’s engaging culture, interesting work, motivating colleagues, and career opportunities.
Bates White has also won awards in the past several years from Vault, including among the top 50 consulting firms, economic consulting firms, and boutique consulting firms. In addition, Vault ranked the firm’s summer internship program #1 twice in the past five years. The firm was also named on the inaugural GoodSeeker list of top values-driven employers.
