- In Consumer Financial Protection Bureau v. Navient Corporation et al. analyzed 16 TB of data, containing over 46 billion records and millions of borrowers over a decade, on behalf of the CFPB to evaluate potential damages incurred by student loan borrowers due to issues with the loan servicer.
- Supported the expert on behalf of Illinois plaintiffs in cases of alleged manipulation in the market of variable rate demand obligations (VRDOs). Several financial institutions that are major remarketing agents allegedly colluded to set coupon rates so high that investors would not exercise the put option, thereby collecting fees without providing services. The case ultimately settled, with the defendants agreeing to pay approximately $70 million.
