Summary
Kevin O’Reagan serves as a senior member of the Bates White leadership team. He provides strategic leadership for the firm’s technology functions. In this capacity, he guides and oversees development and implementation of Bates White’s technology vision, ensuring alignment with the business objectives of the firm. As part of his pursuit to align technology and firm business objectives, Mr. O’Reagan serves as a leader on the firm’s Data Science Committee. In this role, he explores emerging technologies to ensure that Bates White has the appropriate tools to handle and analyze data and that the firm follows best practices in doing so.
Mr. O’Reagan has more than 30 years of information technology leadership experience. Prior to joining Bates White, Mr. O’Reagan served as Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer for Strayer Education, a company that offers academic programs through its wholly owned subsidiary Strayer University, both in classroom and online courses. In this role, Mr. O’Reagan had many notable accomplishments including deploying one of the largest and fastest-growing online learning platforms in the industry serving more than 65,000 students; establishing an enterprise IT architecture with virtual redundant data center operations, networks, databases, business intelligence, data analytics, system monitoring and controls; leading the strategy, design, implementation and operational management of critical IT platforms; and managing IT services to support the successful growth of the organization from 11 to 80+ campuses across the United States.
Prior to Strayer, Mr. O’Reagan held a number of technology management positions for Thomson Reuters, Thomson Technology Consulting, The Prudential Mortgage Corporation, and Accenture.
