Summary
Sahan Yildiz is a Senior Economist in the Antitrust and Competition Practice at Bates White. He received his PhD in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University, where he specialized in applied industrial organization and energy and environmental economics. In his doctoral studies, Dr. Yildiz focused on the investment decisions of competing firms in an environment where the investment cost is declining in time. For this purpose, he formulated a dynamic structural model representing the investment decisions in wind power in order to empirically investigate the timing and efficiency of various subsidy policies.
