Sheridan Rogers is a Manager in the Antitrust and Competition Practice. She specializes in the analysis of complex data sets and conducts detailed research to aid in the review of antitrust issues relating to both horizontal and vertical mergers and monopolization claims. She also assists in the preparation of economic expert testimony and provides consulting support across a variety of industries, including chemical, consumer products, and healthcare. Her work spans both private companies and regulatory agencies. In her time at Bates White, she has supported testifying experts on behalf of the Federal Trade Commission in its litigation over the proposed merger between Tronox and Cristal and on behalf of CDK Global in In re Dealer Management Systems Antitrust Litigation.   • Supported the expert in Epic Games v. Google, Epic’s antitrust litigation related to Google’s app store practices. A jury returned a verdict in favor of Epic on all counts and all claims.
  • On behalf of Tronox, analyzed its proposed acquisition of Eramet’s TiZir Titanium and Iron business before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Competition and Markets Authority of the United Kingdom.
  • In In re Dealer Management Systems Antitrust Litigation, supported the expert in submitting a rebuttal report on behalf  of CDK Global. Reviewed and evaluated liability opinions of multiple plaintiff expert reports and analyzed the conduct of CDK and Reynolds to assess the merits of plaintiffs’ allegations.
  • On behalf of the FTC in its litigation over the proposed merger between Tronox and Cristal, supported the expert in providing key market definition analysis and modeling the likely unilateral and coordinated effects of the merger. 
  • On behalf of Siemens and Alstom, two global railroad industry firms, supported the expert in analyzing the likely competitive impact in the United States and Canada of their proposed merger.
