As Millennials are projected to overtake Baby Boomers as America’s largest generation, they are on the cusp of driving and shaping the direction of our communities and our most fundamental institutions, including the federal judiciary. This program discusses the generation of individuals defined as Millennials and how we as judges and leaders in the legal community can best share the wisdom of our life experiences with a generation that came of age during rapidly changing and advancing technologies, polarized politics, and shifting cultural norms. Our panelists will address the evolving narratives and truisms that have come to define Millennials, how other generations perceive them and how we may more effectively communicate with this generation to engage and inspire them.
