“Collective Bargaining Implications of Washington’s 2021 Law Enforcement Reform Legislation,” 2021 WSAMA Fall Conference

Alyssa Melter will be presenting at the 2021 Fall Conference of the Washington State Association of Municipal Attorneys (WSAMA).

In 2021, Washington’s legislature took on police reform and passed a number of bills that were signed into law. The goal of this presentation is to provide a framework for analyzing the collective bargaining implications of the police reform legislation and to briefly walk through the legislation, identifying areas significant to labor relations and collective bargaining.
