On July 9, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in McGirt v. Oklahoma that much of eastern Oklahoma is an Indian reservation and prevents state authorities from prosecuting offenses there that involve Native Americans. The panel will provide various perspectives and background on the case and its implications.
