The American Bar Association has awarded Adrian Urquhart Winder the Pro Bono Publico Award, awarded to individuals who have shown outstanding commitment to volunteer legal services for low-income and disadvantaged persons.
Since 1984, the Pro Bono Publico Award has spotlighted pro bono efforts of individual attorneys from small and large firms, government offices, corporate law departments and other institutions of the legal profession.
Adrian has been recognized as “rock star pro bono counsel” for her impactful work with the Family Violence Appellate Project in Washington, the only civil legal organization dedicated to representing domestic violence survivors.
