Ben Lambiotte commented on Educational Broadband Services (EBS) and how telecom giant Sprint utilizes the EBS spectrum it receives through leases from public broadcasters.
Recently, the FCC proposed changes that would allow EBS licensees to sell their spectrum to commercial users. Many public broadcasters are in opposition to the proposal as they believe the change could create a hostile leasing environment.
