Foster Garvey is pleased to welcome Emily Hazen, who has joined the firm's Public Finance & Municipal Government group as an Associate in Spokane.
Emily focuses her practice on assisting Washington state municipal clients in public finance transactions and general municipal law.
Before joining Foster Garvey, Emily was an associate in the corporate and transactional group at Witherspoon Kelley where she helped structure transactions, draft documents and analyze financial data.
Emily obtained her J.D., summa cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2019. She earned her M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Gonzaga University School of Business in 2018 and her B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Eastern Washington University in 2015.
While in law school, Emily served as an Articles Editor for the Gonzaga Law Review and was named winner of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. She was also a recipient of the Thomas More Scholarship, a full-tuition, merit-based scholarship for public service.
