Foster Garvey is proud to announce it has been recognized by the Legal Foundation of Washington’s Campaign for Equal Justice as a Champion of Justice. The Campaign for Equal Justice works with more than 100 firms, providing legal aid to low-income families across the state in a variety of areas from immigration to housing to benefits for seniors and veterans. Last year the Campaign raised over $2 million, funding assistance for 25,000 families living in poverty. Funds raised through the Campaign support the King County Bar Pro Bono Program and more than 40 additional legal aid programs.
The Foundation also runs an Associates Campaign, and this year, our first-year associates Julia Doherty and Julie Do led the firm’s team, raising over $16,000 in additional funds, with more than 50 percent of associates in the Seattle and Spokane offices participating. Associates made an average gift of more than $150.
