Foster Garvey is pleased to announce the arrival of our 2024 Summer Associates in the Seattle and Tulsa offices. This year, we welcome six talented individuals, including two returning associates, who will contribute their diverse skill sets and perspectives to the firm.
Meet our 2024 Summer Associate class:

Tsechu Dolma (she/her/hers) As a returning member of the 2023 Summer Associate class, Tsechu looks to deepen the knowledge she gained in her first term. She holds an M.B.A. from Oxford University Saïd Business School. Tsechu’s educational background includes dual B.A. and M.P.A. degrees in Economic Development from Columbia University. As co-founder of Reducing Bias in AI and a former project manager in the United Nations Development Program, she is dedicated to advancing racial equity and protecting the planet. Tsechu also founded the Mountain Resiliency Project, a social enterprise aimed at building resilient refugee communities through women's agribusiness. |

Karly Fisher (she/her/hers) Karly is the Articles Selection Editor for the Tulsa Law Review, previously serving as its Associate Editor. She is an active participant in her law school’s Native American Law Student Association and is a member of the Federal Bar Association student chapter. Karly has devoted substantial time to supporting her local community, including taking a lead role in an Afghanistan Refugee Drive and hosting an educational event and fundraiser to bring awareness to social injustices faced by minorities in our country’s legal system. Karly received her B.A. in Economics from Oklahoma State University. |

Graham Fulton (he/him/his) Graham has demonstrated his leadership at Seattle U Law through his roles as Editor-in-Chief for the Seattle University Law Review and Regional/National Competition Co-Chair of the Moot Court Board. He served as a law clerk in the Complex Civil Litigation Division of the Washington Attorney General’s Office, where he gained extensive drafting and research experience. Combining his passion for community involvement and playing music, Graham previously volunteered as an instructor and member of the Seattle All-City Marching Band. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington. |

Kenzie Kinsella (she/her/hers) Kenzie returns to Foster Garvey, having spent her previous summer with the firm. As a member of the Native American Law Student Association at UW Law, Kenzie brings a passion for social justice and advocacy to the team. Her academic journey includes obtaining degrees in Biology and Women's & Gender Studies at Pacific Lutheran University. Before pursuing her legal career, Kenzie worked as a Research Intern at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, collaborating with team members to perform lab procedures, analyze data and address critical developments for various vaccine research projects. |

Sam Miller (he/him/his) On top of his busy law school curriculum, Sam works as a research assistant for two Seattle U Law professors. He has also served as a staff editor for the Seattle University Law Review and as a law mentor for the Seattle Youth Traffic Court, a pro bono partnership to support the development of successful youth and thriving communities. Before law school, Sam worked as a compliance specialist at a creditors’ rights law firm, conducting research and reporting on various matters. He holds a B.S. in Astrophysics from Haverford College. |

Penny Pathanaporn (she/her/hers) Penny is an active member of student life at UW Law, participating in the school’s Law and Business Association, Tech Law Society and Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She is also a Legal Clinic volunteer for the Asian Bar Association of Washington. From a young age, Penny aspired to become an attorney to impact her clients’ lives and community. Before law school, she gained hands-on experience as a paralegal/legal assistant and intern at an immigration law firm in San Diego. Penny holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. |

Each summer associate will be paired with their own Principal mentor, Associate buddy, and Workflow Coordinator throughout the program. This personalized approach ensures they receive guidance and support while working on various projects within the firm's practice groups. By engaging in challenging assignments, the Summer Associates will gain firsthand experience that reflects the realities of practicing law at Foster Garvey.
