October 3, 2019, Washington, D.C. - Foster Garvey is pleased to announce that Erwin Krasnow has been named to America’s Top Brokers and Attorneys list in Radio and Television Business Report (RBR+TVBR), the first-ever reader-generated honor roll recognizing top 10 media brokers and communications attorneys who have helped shape the future of broadcast media through significant achievements in both the financial and regulatory arenas. The inaugural list of honorees was selected by hundreds of industry leaders and legal professionals who sent in their nominations.
Erwin has long served as a trusted advisor counseling and representing radio and television broadcasters, tower owners, financial institutions and trade associations in administrative, legislative and transactional matters. He advises clients in a wide variety of issues, ranging from new technologies to lobbying strategies. With transactional matters being one of his core focuses, he has represented sellers and buyers of broadcasting, cable, tower and telecommunications properties in transactions totaling in excess of $21 billion.
Erwin is also an active and dedicated member of the professional community having served as SVP and General Counsel of the National Association of Broadcasters, is a frequent contributor to RBR+TVBR and has authored and co-authored 23 books on communications law, the FCC and the broadcasting industry. Recently, he was inducted into the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council's Hall of Fame for his “extraordinary service to the cause of diversity and inclusion in the media and telecommunications industries.”
