With deep industry knowledge and experience, Brian helps clients successfully navigate the legal and regulatory complexities involved in the manufacture, distribution and sale of food, alcoholic beverages, dietary supplements and cannabis. His keen understanding of emerging technologies empowers him to provide practical guidance on the application of relevant state and federal laws and regulations to artificial intelligence, blockchain, biotechnology, e-commerce, social media and robotics.

He also has substantial experience with consumer brands and luxury law, advising high-net-worth individuals, auction houses, manufacturers, brand owners, importers, distributors, retailers of high-end wines and spirits and luxury hotels on a variety of legal and regulatory issues, including licensing structures and compliance with state and federal trade-practices and tied-house rules, import and export regulations, tariffs, foreign appellations of origin, trade embargos, international trade rules, marketing and advertising laws and commodity-specific regulations.
