Trask has more than a decade of litigation experience as a paralegal. He has a wide range of experience across a variety of industries and in both state and federal court litigation.

His duties involved collaborating with attorneys and staff on document preparation, coordinating assignments and projects, and preparing for depositions, trials, and witness testimony.

While working for the Oregon Department of Justice, Trask worked in the general counsel division, working with attorneys on behalf of the Oregon Department of State Lands and Oregon Department of Transportation.
