Maura E. Blau will be a panelist for a session at the New Jersey State Bar Association Annual Meeting, being held May 15-17. The seminar will focus on “New Jersey Environmental Legislation - An Update,” a review of important environmental developments presented by the Bar’s Environmental Law Section.
Ms. Blau serves as Treasurer of the Section, and is also co-founder and co-chair of the NJSBA’s Special Committee on Renewable Energy, Cleantech and Climate Change. She is Counsel in the firm’s Environmental Department and has degrees in environmental science and mechanical engineering as well as law. She counsels and assists clients on a broad range of environmental matters including contaminated site remediation and brownfield redevelopment projects, environmental assessments and due diligence related to complex real estate transactions and public-private partnerships, environmental compliance and air/water permitting requirements, underground storage tanks and other environmental issues.
