Christine F. Li, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, will serve as Moderator of the 2015 Community Association Law Summit, to be held on November 18, 2015 from 9:00am – 4:30pm at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Ms. Li is also organizing the seminar, which is presented by NJICLE in cooperation with the NJSBA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section and the Community Associations Institute, New Jersey Chapter (CAI-NJ).
The 2015 Community Association Law Summit features presentations by a panel of community association practitioners, including attorneys, accountants and other industry professionals. Speakers will analyze the key issues faced by associations governing condominiums and other types of planned communities, and will offer strategies and solutions for financial and other issues of impact. A special lunchtime presentation will offer attendees an opportunity to interact with panelists during an “Ask the Experts” segment. John D. North, a partner in Greenbaum’s Litigation Department, will address the issue of achieving transition results without litigation immediately following the lunch break.
Ms. Li is Chair of the firm’s Community Association and Planned Real Estate Practice Groups. She is a member of the College of Community Association Lawyers and a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. She is a member of the Community Associations Institute, New Jersey Chapter and chairs that group’s National Legislative Action Committee. Focusing her practice in real estate, with a concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law, she is the co-author of New Jersey Condominium and Community Association Law.
