Christine F. Li, a partner in the Real Estate Department and Chair of the firm’s Community Association and Planned Real Estate Practice Groups, is the organizer and moderator of the ”2018 Community Association Law Summit,” to be presented at the New Jersey Law Center on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 9:00am – 4:30pm.  The program is presented by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section and the Community Associations Institute, New Jersey Chapter (CAI-NJ).

This popular and highly-acclaimed program is being offered by NJICLE for the eighth consecutive year.

Ms. Li and a panel of distinguished community association practitioners and consultants will analyze key issues faced today by community associations. The discussion will include current and controversial topics such as Airbnb and other short term rentals, financing by community associations and purchasers of homes in communities, developments in construction defect litigation, a federal law update, and mortgage foreclosure reform legislation.

The lunchtime presentation will be a discussion among attorneys, a property manager and an insurance professional on dealing with nor’easters and similar events upon communities.

The program will deliver an in-depth look at the most timely and significant concerns of associations governing condominiums and other types of planned communities.

Ms. Li focuses her practice in real estate, with a concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law.
