Christine F. Li, a partner in the Real Estate Department, co-Chair of the firm’s Community Association Practice Group, and Chair of the Planned Real Estate Practice Group, is the organizer and moderator of the ”2020 Community Association Law Summit,” to be presented virtually as a live webcast on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 9:00am – 4:00pm.  The program will be presented by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section and the Community Associations Institute, New Jersey Chapter (CAI-NJ).

This popular and highly-acclaimed program is being offered for the tenth consecutive year. A panel of distinguished community association practitioners and consultants will analyze key issues faced today by community associations. The discussion will include current and controversial topics such as the impact of the coronavirus on community associations; mental and physical conditions of the residents in these communities; the growing risk and reality of cyberattacks in our connected world on community associations; and ethical challenges faced by community association practitioners. Jemi Goulian Lucey, a partner in the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group, will speak on the topic of “Employment Law Landmines: Harassment, Discrimination and Recent Legislation” during the presentation.

Ms. Li focuses her practice in real estate, with a concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law.
