Greenbaum partners Joel Clymer and Mary E. Toscano will be panelists at the Essex County Bar Association’s “6th Annual Corporate Counsel Symposium” on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 9:30am – 2:00pm. The program, co-hosted by the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA), will be presented in person at the NJHA Conference & Event Center in Princeton and will feature three panels focused on important issues in healthcare law, including corporate governance and compliance, employment matters, and the importance of behavioral health.
Ms. Toscano will moderate a panel discussion on “Healthcare Investigations: Diagnosis and Treatment of Complex Issues.” As Chair of the firm’s Criminal Defense & Regulatory Compliance practice, she focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal corporate investigations and complex civil litigation and has tried numerous cases to verdict. She currently serves as ECBA Secretary and is a former bar Trustee.
Mr. Clymer will join a panel discussion on “Diagnosing the Workplace: The Current State of Non-Compete Law and Other Evolving Trends.” His employment law practice encompasses the investigation, evaluation and litigation of discrimination and retaliation claims under federal and state laws and regulations, as well as employment counseling on a variety of workplace issues.
