Jemi Goulian Lucey, a partner in the firm’s Employment Law and Litigation Departments and Co-Chair of the Higher Education Practice Group, will be a panelist at the New Jersey Association for Justice’s Boardwalk Seminar 2021, which will be held this year as a virtual event on June 28-30, 2021. Ms. Lucey will be a panelist for the live webinar “The Architecture of the Workforce: Achieving Permanent Diversity and Inclusion in the Legal Profession” on Friday, June 28 from 4:00pm – 5:15pm as part of the NJAJ’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programming.
The Boardwalk Seminar 2021 will feature 28 programs presented in 102 separate webinars for trial attorneys presented by local, regional and national speakers. Attendees will also have an opportunity to visit a virtual Exhibit Hall which features products and services for the legal community. All programs will be recorded and available for a one year period.
Ms. Lucey is a trial attorney who focuses her practice on employment, higher education and professional negligence matters. She represents private and public entities, including institutions of higher learning, in employment discrimination and retaliation actions, professional negligence cases, Title IX claims, and business disputes. She also lectures and consults on employment and human resources law and provides guidance related to the practical implications of various state and federal laws affecting employers.
The NJAJ is a statewide association of over 2,700 members in private practice and public service, paralegals, law clerks, law students and law school graduates not yet admitted to the bar.
