Jack Fersko, co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, is the co-program coordinator and a speaker for “Commercial Leasing 2018: A Deeper Dive into Selected Topics, ” a seminar which will be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Mr. Fersko and chair David S. Gordon (Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer, PA) will once again moderate and lecture at this long-standing full-day seminar, the latest in a series of annual presentations that the pair have been developing for NJICLE since the 1990s.
Each year, Mr. Fersko and Mr. Gordon bring together a panel of real estate industry experts to discuss timely and trending issues within New Jersey’s commercial real estate leasing environment. This year, they will lead a panel in presentations applicable to just about every real estate contract or lease. The program will include a presentation on the ethics of negotiations by Jeffrey D. Ullman, Esq. and a luncheon keynote presentation on New Jersey’s economic future and the potential impact on real estate.
Panelists with years of experience will share their strategies to confidently handle the issues that they deal with regularly. Among the topics to be addressed are:
- Tenant Improvements and Work Letters
- Important Lease
- Ground Lease Projects
- SNDA’s and Estoppels
Mr. Fersko’s practice reflects his extensive experience as a commercial real estate and general business lawyer. His legal services emphasize industrial and commercial real estate activities, with a particular focus on industrial leasing, project financing, sustainable development and alternative energy initiatives, urban redevelopment, and the impact of environmental laws on commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition and redevelopment of environmentally contaminated sites.
