Christine F. Li will be a panelist for a New Jersey Builders Association presentation, “Condominium Craziness.”  The seminar will focus on the process of transitioning a community association to the homeowners, and will cover the mitigation of risks, common statutory requirements, and transition-related techniques. The program will take place on July 29, 2015 from 9:30am – 12:00pm at the Woodard & Curran Auditorium in East Windsor, NJ.

In addition to Ms. Li, panelists will include representatives from New Jersey’s Department of Consumer Affairs, Steve Denenholtz, Edward Hanneman, and Bernice Rosenthal; attorneys Scott Anderson (Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, PC), Eva Fatenko (Archer & Greiner PC); builders’ representatives Steven Brumfield (Toll Brothers), Steve Dahl (K. Hovnanian Homes) and Adam Lutz (Pulte Group); and moderator Mitch Frumkin, PE,RS, CGP (Kipcon).

Ms. Li focuses her practice in real estate, with a concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law.  Her work encompasses new construction condominium and subdivided lot communities, the conversion of rental properties to the condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial and business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and the registration of planned real estate developments with the DCA.  She has experience in the acquisition and sale, mortgage financing and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, and provides litigation support in cases involving construction defects and transition from sponsor to unit owner control.  Ms. Li’s community association representation includes general counseling, collections, and alternative dispute resolution.
