Alan S. Pralgever, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will participate at the “Construction Contract Workshop” sponsored by HalfMoon Education Inc. The presentation will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Princeton on August 28th.
This seminar, for architects, professional engineers and contactors, will help attendees understand basic contract principles and the roles of project participants in contracts and agreements. Mr. Pralgever will speak on “Reviewing Contract Documents”. Other topics to be covered are “Understanding Construction Contract Essentials,” “Reviewing Bidding Documents,” “Understanding Issues on Contract Administration,” and “Examining Legal Issues and Disputes.”
Mr. Pralgever concentrates his practice in several areas including corporate, partnership and medical practice dissolutions, and corporate and business disputes. He has also long been involved in construction law and related areas, about which he has written and lectured extensively, representing owners, general contractors, and public institutions such as school boards. He frequently appears in arbitration matters and in the past was appointed to the panel of arbitrators before the American Arbitration Association for commercial and construction matters.
