Jemi Goulian Lucey, a partner in the firm’s Employment Law, Litigation and Healthcare Departments, will be a panelist for the live webinar “Hot Topics Impacting New Jersey’s Building Industry Right Now: Cannabis and COVID,” to be presented by the New Jersey Builders Association on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 9:30am – 10:30am.
This virtual program will serve as a one-stop shop on two of the most pressing issues facing New Jersey employers today: Cannabis and COVID. New Jersey has faced numerous challenges in the past year, and with major policy changes in response to the pandemic coupled with the historic marijuana reform, it is critical to understand what the state’s marijuana legalization means for New Jersey’s building industry and to learn about workplace guidelines surrounding the coronavirus.
Ms. Lucey is a trial attorney who focuses her practice on employment, higher education and professional negligence matters. She represents private and public entities in employment discrimination and retaliation actions, professional negligence cases, Title IX claims, and business disputes. She frequently lectures and consults on employment and human resources law and provides guidance related to the practical implications of various state and federal laws affecting employers.
Program registration can be accessed from NJBA's website.
