Robert B. Hille, a partner in the firm’s Healthcare and Litigation Departments, will be a panelist for the live webinar “How to Handle and Mitigate a Crisis- Preparing for and Responding to What’s Next,” which will be presented on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 9:00am – 12:00pm by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education as part of NJICLE’s new Business Law Essentials Series.
We are living in a time where so many daily occurrences can lead to a crisis - a misstatement by a company executive, cyber breaches and attacks, product recalls, workplace accidents, natural and human-made catastrophes, and of course, pandemics. These crises can have detrimental impacts on businesses, including business disruption, loss of valuable employees, extreme financial distress, and increased stakeholder litigation.
In our digital world, stakeholders are always watching businesses and expect them to have a plan, to react quickly during a crisis, and to show genuine concern. This program will provide guidance for assisting clients in developing and implementing strong governance, risk and compliance strategies that protect them in a crisis.
Mr. Hille focuses his practice in litigation, with a particular emphasis on trial advocacy. His areas of concentration include insurance, healthcare law, professional liability and ethics, and white-collar criminal matters, including those related to professional ethics. Mr. Hille has extensive trial expertise that encompasses insurance defense and coverage cases, healthcare disputes, professional liability defense, fraud and abuse, and regulatory issues. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and lectures frequently on issues related to attorney ethics and professional liability.
