Alan S. Naar, Vice-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, will lecture at the program “How to Get Your Social Media, Email and Text Evidence Admitted (and Keep Theirs Out),” to be hosted by NBI Seminars on November 15, 2016 at the Holiday Inn in Princeton. The program will run from 9:00am – 4:30pm.
This full-day program will provide a comprehensive overview of state processes, procedures and the latest case law. Mr. Naar and his fellow panelists will provide practical tech advice related to email, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest and video surveillance. Attendees will gain invaluable insight into proven ways for identifying, preserving, producing, admitting and blocking electronically stored information (ESI).
Mr. Naar focuses his practice in complex commercial litigation. His diverse experience encompasses corporate and partnership disputes, business torts, product liability matters, trademark and unfair trade practice claims, trade secret litigation, antitrust matters, RICO claims, professional malpractice, employment litigation, land use and redevelopment challenges, and trust and estate litigation. Mr. Naar represents a broad range of business entities and individuals in federal and state court civil litigation and appeals and before arbitration panels. He regularly serves as New Jersey local counsel for law firms in New York, Washington, DC, Chicago and other domestic and overseas locations. His practice also includes alternative dispute resolution as an advocate, mediator or arbitrator.
