Jemi Goulian Lucey, Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department, will lecture at The Gavel National Conference III, which will be held on January 21-23, 2019 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, FL.  Ms. Lucey will be a presenter for a breakout session on “Legal Ethics of Electronic Communications and Inadvertent Disclosures” at the conference, which will also be attended by Darren C. Barreiro, co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department.

Ms. Lucey concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, employment litigation and professional negligence defense.  She represents clients across a broad range of matters, including construction and engineering, civil fraud and business torts, employment related matters, commercial contract disputes, banking and professional malpractice.  She is a member of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group and co-chairs the firm’s Higher Education Practice Group.

Mr. Barreiro, who focuses his practice in complex commercial litigation, was selected in 2017 to serve as the sole New Jersey-based attorney representative of The Gavel, a national insurance defense network for insured and self-insured claims. The Gavel is a resource for claims and risk professionals which seeks to streamline the claims defense process by offering a single point of web-based access to highly qualified attorney and non-attorney claims partners across the country.  In addition to attorneys, specialists within the network include investigators, experts, field adjusters and mediators.
