Steven G. Mlenak, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments, will speak at a “Legislative and Regulatory Update,” to be presented as a live webinar by the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 9:00 – 11:00am.

This expansive seminar will detail critical new laws. The program agenda includes the recently enacted Permit Extension Act; nuanced changes to public meetings due to COVID-19; the extensive eviction moratorium; recent COVID-19 related changes to business practices and increased liability; electric vehicle charging stations; a brief update on affordable housing; and an update on pertinent environmental regulations.

Mr. Mlenak concentrates his practice in the areas of redevelopment, land use, zoning, and real estate development. His clients include property owners and developers engaged in mixed use, residential, industrial, commercial, office, retail and affordable housing development projects. Mr. Mlenak provides guidance from the initial project concept through to construction, including land use planning and approvals, permits and variances and appearances before municipal, county and state planning and zoning boards and agencies.
