Steven G. Mlenak, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments, will be a panelist for the program “Redevelop NJ - Navigating Current Redevelopment Trends,” to be presented as a live webinar by the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 9:30am – 11:00am.
This seminar will examine how builders, remodelers and supporting industries can best position their businesses to be a part of the ever-changing redevelopment market in NJ. Panelists will focus on all types and sizes of redevelopment projects and will discuss issues in the multifamily housing industry, property tax abatements, appeals, parking standards, energy efficiency, economic incentives, liquor licenses and several other topics critical for redevelopment projects. Parties doing business in the growing redevelopment market in New Jersey will find this presentation extremely valuable.
Mr. Mlenak, who was recently appointed to the role of NJBA Redevelopment Counsel, concentrates his practice in the areas of redevelopment, land use, zoning, and real estate development. His clients include property owners and developers engaged in mixed use, residential, industrial, commercial, office, retail and affordable housing development projects. Mr. Mlenak provides guidance from the initial project concept through to construction, including land use planning and approvals, permits and variances and appearances before municipal, county and state planning and zoning boards and agencies.
Program registration can be found on NJBA's website.
