Emily A. Kaller, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will be a panelist for a presentation on “Gender Bias in the Legal Profession” at the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ) Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at The Breakers on the Ocean in Spring Lake, NJ. Ms. Kaller is First Vice President of TANJ.
The seminar is scheduled for 5:00-6:00pm, and will be presented in cooperation with The New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts, of which Ms. Kaller is an appointed member. The Hon. Karen M. Cassidy, A.J.S.C., Chair of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts, will introduce the program, while the Hon. Virginia Long, Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court (Ret.) will be a guest speaker.
Ms. Kaller focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She has experience in the prosecution and defense of financing, credit and other banking matters, contract disputes including those arising under licensing and asset sale agreements, environmental contamination contribution actions, and complex litigation. Her experience also encompasses class action litigation in matters involving consumer claims, alleged securities fraud and personal injury.
