Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is proud to announce that our partner Steven G. Mlenak has been recognized as a 2023 “Forty Under 40” honoree by NJBIZ.

As Co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, Mr. Mlenak counsels clients on all aspects of the redevelopment process, including the negotiation and drafting of redevelopment agreements, review of redevelopment area studies and redevelopment plans, drafting of redevelopment-related ordinances and resolutions, and appearances before redevelopment entities and governing bodies. He chairs the firm’s Financial Incentives & Economic Development Practice Group and also maintains a strong practice in the niche area of community association law, providing strategic and general counseling to condominium and homeowners associations throughout New Jersey.

In addition to his work on behalf of the firm’s clients, Mr. Mlenak serves as Redevelopment Counsel to the New Jersey Builders Association, as a Director of the New Jersey State Bar Association Land Use Law Section, and as Vice President of the Community Associations Institute - New Jersey Chapter.

Launched in 2006, the NJBIZ Forty Under 40 program recognizes 40 professionals under the age of 40 for their notable successes and demonstrations of strong leadership in the state. Honorees are chosen by an independent panel of judges following an open nomination process and are judged on their business accomplishments, volunteer activities and other criteria. Mr. Mlenak and his fellow honorees will be recognized at a September 21, 2023, awards ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Somerset.
