Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that Jaclyn M. Kavendek has joined the firm as an associate in the Real Estate Department.
Ms. Kavendek concentrates her practice in commercial and residential real estate, including the representation of clients in transactional matters and real estate litigation. Her experience encompasses the representation of both public and private sector clients, including property owners, developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, servicers and governmental entities. Ms. Kavendek has extensive experience with drafting, negotiating, and litigating commercial and residential lease agreements. She handles the drafting and negotiation of contracts and other commercial agreements and provides risk management, general business and compliance guidance, as well as litigation counseling. She has additional experience related to the resolution and litigation of construction disputes, creditors' rights matters, and issues in the workplace. Prior to joining the firm, she handled both transactional matters and litigation as an associate at a New Jersey business law firm.
Ms. Kavendek is a member of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section’s Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Mercer County Bar Association, New York Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association. She received her J.D. cum laude from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and earned her B.S. cum laude from George Mason University. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia, and in the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
