Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that our partner Jemi Goulian Lucey will be sworn in as Treasurer of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey (AFBNJ) at the 46th Annual William J. Brennan, Jr. Award Reception, which will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at The Grove in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.

In addition to the installation of the AFBNJ’s 2023-2024 slate of officers and trustees, the event will recognize The Honorable Esther Salas, U.S. District Judge for the District of New Jersey, as recipient of the 2023 Brennan Award. The AFBNJ will also present John J. Barry Memorial Scholarships to students at Rutgers Law School and Seton Hall University School of Law.

Ms. Lucey is currently an AFBNJ Trustee. She serves as Trustee Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee and as Vice Chair of the Third Circuit Committee. In addition, Greenbaum partner Mary E. Toscano is also an AFBNJ Trustee.

A member of the firm’s Employment Law, Litigation and Healthcare Departments, Ms. Lucey is also Co-Chair of the Higher Education Practice Group. She is a trial attorney who focuses her practice on employment, higher education, and complex litigation matters in state and federal court, representing private and public entities, including institutions of higher learning, in employment discrimination and retaliation actions, professional negligence cases, Title IX claims, and general business disputes.
