The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the American Bar Foundation’s Board. They support the work of the American Bar Foundation as one of the world's leading research institutes for the empirical and interdisciplinary study of law, seeking to advance the understanding and improvement of law through research projects of unmatched scale and quality on the most pressing issues facing the legal system in the United States and the world.
Ms. Reckord is a partner in the firm’s Litigation and Family Law Departments, and co-chairs the Construction Disputes Practice Group. She represents clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including matters in the areas of banking, employment, trust & estates, class action defense, consumer fraud, construction and commercial real estate. Her work related to family law includes matters related to divorce, alimony, child support, equitable distribution, custody and parenting time, as well as post-judgment modification and enforcement. She is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America and the Construction Lawyers Society of America, Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Construction Law Section, Vice President of Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, and a member of the American Bar Association Litigation Section’s Forum on Construction Law, and the Jersey Shore Chamber of Commerce.
