Jill was chosen based on her exemplary work as a legal and business adviser to public and private sector employers on complex labor and employment law issues concerning: labor negotiations and the handling of grievance and interest arbitration hearings; the navigation of paid leave and reasonable accommodation laws; and she handles high stakes disputes filed before the EEOC, Department of Labor, Illinois Human Rights Department, the NLRB and other administrative agencies.
With over 30 years at the firm, Jill has earned the respect of her colleagues while serving in leadership roles as a member of the Firm’s five-person Executive Committee, the past Chairperson of the Recruiting Committee and the firm’s mentoring programs. Outside of Laner Muchin, Jill is and has been an active participant, frequent speaker and committee leader with the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Public Employee Labor Relations Association, the Illinois Government Lawyers Association, the John Marshall Law School Alumni Association, the Board of Governors of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Chicago and many other professional and not-for-profit organizations.
