A key part of Wiley's pro bono mission is to provide equal access to the justice system for individuals and groups otherwise unable to afford it. We do this primarily by taking cases referred through local legal service providers with whom we have forged close ties.

Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition
CAIR Coalition partners with over 40 DC area law firms that provide thousands of hours of free legal assistance to immigrants held in detention by the federal government in Virginia and Maryland.
Catholic Charities Legal Network
The Catholic Charities Legal Network provides a variety of legal services to low-income families and individuals. The Catholic Charities Legal Network offers its services to residents of the District of Columbia and surrounding Maryland counties of Montgomery, Prince George’s, Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s.
Consumer Law Resource Center
The Consumer Law Resource Center provides free legal information to consumers related to debt collection, small claims cases, utility disputes and other violations of the Consumer Protection Procedures Act.
D.C. Bar Advocacy and Justice Clinic
Wiley attorneys and legal assistants participate in approximately two clinics each year, taking on representation of several cases each year. These cases include social security, disability, family law, and landlord/tenant disputes.
Legal Aid Justice Center
The Legal Aid Justice Center battles poverty and injustice by solving critical legal problems for individuals and communities. They then take what they learn from those efforts to identify, investigate, and attack systemic injustices by using a mix of zealous individual representation, group and class litigation, community organizing, policy advocacy, and media relations.
Legal Aid Society of D.C.
The Legal Aid Society provides free civil legal assistance to low-income residents of DC, in the areas of family law, landlord-tenant, public benefits and special education cases.
Legal Counsel for the Elderly
The Legal Counsel for the Elderly, the legal arm of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), works in collaboration with pro bono attorneys to address a full array of legal problems and concerns confronted by indigent and low-income elderly citizens in our community.
Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs
The Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs represents groups and individuals seeking to vindicate their civil rights. It has handled thousands of individuals’ and group-oriented impact civil rights cases, in employment, housing, public accommodations, immigration and refugee rights, disability rights and prisoners’ rights.
