Tentative Rulemaking Calendar-Late May 2002 through January 2003

As can be seen in the accompanying table, the Federal Election Commission ("FEC") has already begun the process to promulgate regulations under the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 ("BCRA"). The first set of regulations concern soft money, but the Commission will take up the other areas covered by BCRA soon thereafter. All of the dates below, except for the soft money calendar, are subject to change.
