FEC Post-General Reports Due December 4

November 2014

All federally registered political committees except for campaigns supporting candidates that did not run in the 2014 General Election are required to file Post-General reports with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) by December 4, 2014.  Filers that are not political committees, such as corporate entities that disclose independent expenditures on FEC Form 5, are not required to file Post-General reports.

For most filers, the Post-General report will cover activity from October 16 through November 24.  Reports for quarterly PAC and party filers that did not trigger Pre-General reporting requirements should instead cover October 1 through November 24.
