Corey represents companies and their executives in high-stakes criminal, civil, and regulatory enforcement actions and internal investigations. His experience includes matters involving contract fraud, procurement fraud, securities fraud, and regulatory violations. Corey also defends clients in litigation involving the False Claims Act (FCA), Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and other federal statutes.
Corey drafts pleadings and motions and assists clients in responding to discovery requests, civil investigative demands, and subpoenas. He also has broad eDiscovery experience, including collecting and producing electronically stored information (ESI).

Representative Matters
- Represented individuals in a criminal investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and U.S. Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General.
- Represented a large multinational corporation in a criminal investigation by the DOJ and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
- Conducted internal investigations for domestic and international companies.
- Represented a government contractor responding to a grand jury subpoena issued by the DOJ National Security Division.
- Represented an individual in responding to a civil investigative demand and navigating a parallel criminal investigation by the DOJ.
- Represented an individual under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for securities fraud.
- Defended government contractors in FCA litigation involving allegations of fraud related to international performance of U.S. government contracts.
- Represented a government contractor in resolving FCA allegations related to an overseas U.S. government contract.
- Represented a U.S. Senator in an amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court regarding fair use under the Copyright Act.
