Elizabeth represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of white collar defense matters, including criminal and civil government enforcement actions, internal investigations, and complex litigation. With experience clerking at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (known as the “Rocket Docket”), as well as working with the U.S. Department of Justice, she has a strong background in federal litigation and government investigations.

Representative Matters
- Drafted opinions in civil cases involving securities fraud, RICO, employment discrimination, and Virginia common law fraud.
- Drafted civil opinions resolving motions concerning the Federal Arbitration Act, IIED, actual and constructive wrongful termination, and RICO.
- Wrote a memorandum analyzing whether FBI agents exceeded the scope of a search warrant.
- Wrote memoranda on the applicability of Sentencing Guidelines enhancements and reductions to defendants' sentences.
- Prepared a bench brief addressing an ineffective assistance of counsel claim in a petition for a writ of habeas corpus.
