Wiley Rein & Fielding Hosts Silent Auction, Raising Funds for Hurricane Victims

September 22, 2005

Washington, DC—Today, Wiley Rein & Fielding hosted a silent auction to raise funds for a variety of charities assisting the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  For this daylong event, the firm and its employees and vendors donated a diverse assortment of goods and services—including sports tickets and memorabilia, a Rolling Stones concert package, fine jewelry, theater and airline tickets and numerous restaurant, hotel and other gift certificates. The firm will match all winning bids; the firm's total contribution to this cause—more than $100,000—will be donated to charitable organizations

Managing Partner Richard Wiley commented, “We couldn’t be prouder of how our WRF family has come together to help those in need.  It truly was an outpouring of goodwill and generosity, and I thank all those whose heartfelt support made this fundraiser such a success.”
