Wiley Rein Recognized for Pro Bono Efforts in Public Accommodations Case
The Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs has presented to Wiley Rein an Outstanding Achievement Award in the field of Public Accommodations. The firm was honored for its pro bono representation of the NAACP and several individuals in a federal lawsuit alleging a widespread pattern and practice of race discrimination against restaurant patrons throughout the South.
The Wiley Rein litigation team included partners Charles C. Lemley and Thomas W. Brunner and associates Nia Y. McDonald, Heather H. Ramirez and Mary Catherine Martin.
