Wiley Rein Hosts 17th Annual “Take Your Child to Work Day”

April 23, 2009

Today, as part of its week-long staff appreciation celebration, Wiley Rein is hosting approximately 50 children, ages 9-17, for its annual “Take Your Child to Work Day.”  This year’s program will feature a mock trial, with all of the roles—including the jury and attorneys—being played by the children.  Our young guests also will spend time working side-by-side with their parents, getting a feel for life at a law firm.

Melodie Felder, the firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer and program director, commented, “Wiley Rein is proud of its family-friendly atmosphere.  We are delighted to see so many bright, eager youngsters and share with them what it is we do here at the firm.”

Each year, Wiley Rein hosts structured programs and organized activities for its employees’ children as part of an expansive staff appreciation week that features a wide-range of special events, including talent showcases and raffles.
