Wiley’s Scott McCaleb Named ‘Government Contracts MVP’ by Law360

October 3, 2023

Washington, DC – Wiley is pleased to announce that partner Scott M. McCaleb, co-chair of the firm’s top-ranked Government Contracts Practice, has been named a 2023 “MVP” by Law360. McCaleb was recognized as one of the top five lawyers in his practice area on this prestigious national list, reflecting his many outstanding victories for clients over the past year.

Attorneys selected as MVPs distinguished themselves by “securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters, and record-breaking deals,” according to Law360. This is the fourth time McCaleb has been named to the highly competitive annual list, having previously been honored as an MVP in 2014, 2015, and 2019.

Recognized by industry leaders as an outstanding advocate and a consummate litigator, McCaleb serves as go-to government contracts counsel for many of the largest aerospace and defense contractors. His practice spans all issues involving government contracts, including bid protests, claims and appeals, investigations, allegations of procurement fraud, and many “outside the box” issues of first impression. His experience extends across virtually all government contracting industries, including aerospace and weapon systems integration, information technology and network solutions, and architect-engineering and construction matters.

Competition for the MVP distinction was “fierce” this year, according to Law360. Editors reviewed more than 900 submissions to compile the list, which includes 171 attorneys from 76 firms and 37 practice areas.

A Law360 MVP profile of McCaleb, highlighting his achievements over the past year, will be published in the coming weeks. The full list of 2023 MVPs can be found here (subscription required).
